Treatment programmes
We can, in a limited number of cases, provide structured programmes tailored to the treatment needs of adults who have been violent or abusive in intimate relationships. We use an intervention model which allows for clear treatment aims to be set and worked towards. Our programmes can be designed to complement statutory interventions.
Programmes are also available for adults to address the effects of domestic violence, reduce vulnerability to domestic abuse, and to help partners plan for their own safety and prioritise their children's needs.
The safety and wellbeing of the children involved is always paramount in our work.Routine feedback is provided to the referrer, and written progress reports can be negotiated as required.We will also offer information on accessing other specialist services such as groupwork programmes or substance misuse interventions
